FAQ
What documents are required to rent a car?
Required documents: a driver’s license valid for at least 12 months and a national ID or passport. For non-EU citizens, an international driver’s license is mandatory.
Is there an age requirement for car rental?
You must be at least 21 years old and have had your driver’s license for at least one year.
What does the car pickup process look like?
Before pickup, our representative contacts the customer by phone to arrange the handoff location. The representative will have the rental agreement and vehicle handover report ready.
The renter signs these documents during vehicle handover.
Can I return the car outside business hours?
Yes, we operate 24/7, so returning the vehicle outside of standard hours is no problem. Just schedule a specific return time.
What if there's an accident or breakdown?
In case of a collision or breakdown, contact us immediately. We provide fast assistance and a replacement vehicle. If you’ve purchased loss damage waiver coverage, you won’t be responsible for repair costs.
Is there a mileage limit?
For rentals up to 30 days, no mileage limit. For longer rentals, the standard limit is 3,000 km per month, which can be increased upon request.
Can I travel outside of Poland?
Yes. Travel is allowed only to countries within the European Union.
To travel outside of Poland, you must select the “travel abroad” option during online booking or inform us by phone at +48 794 500 550 at least 24 hours before pickup.
What is CarFree’s fuel policy?
The car must be returned with the same fuel level as when it was received.
