FAQ

What documents do I need to rent a car?
You need two documents: a valid driver’s license (held for at least 12 months) and an EU ID card or a passport. For non-EU citizens, an international driving permit is required.

Is there an age limit for renting a car?
Yes, you must be at least 21 years old and have held your driver’s license for at least one year.

How does car pick-up work?
Before pick-up, our representative will contact you to confirm the handover location. They will have the rental agreement and vehicle handover protocol ready for you to sign.

Can I return the car outside business hours?
Yes, we operate 24/7, so returning your car outside standard working hours is no problem.

What happens in case of an accident or breakdown?
Contact us immediately. We will provide quick assistance and a replacement vehicle.

Is there a mileage limit?
For rentals up to 30 days, there is no mileage limit. For longer rentals, the standard limit is 3,000 km per month, with an option to increase it.

Can I drive outside Poland?
Yes, but only within EU countries. You must select the "cross-border travel" option during booking or inform us by phone at least 24 hours before pick-up.

What is CarFree’s fuel policy?
The car must be returned with the same fuel level as when it was rented.
